Learn-Adopt-Spread (LEADS)
Inspired by the powerful words of Barack Obama and Mahatma Gandhi, emphasizing the urgent need for individual and collective action to address the climate crisis.
Properly trained and guided, Climate Volunteers are committed to learning, adopting, and promoting sustainable practices to drive climate correction.
Through their actions, Climate Volunteers help to create a groundswell of support for climate action, influencing public opinion, and driving climate correction. There are three steps to become climate volunteers:
Learning: Become Energy Literate
Adopting: Adopt AMG (Avoid-Minimize-Generate) approach
Spreading: Spread Programs such as ELT, WAH (Wrinkles Achhe Hai), REC (Reduce Electricity Consumption), and EKSK (Ek Kamra Solar Ka)
The Climate Volunteers Program offers four stages of growth, allowing individuals to deepen their commitment and impact in the fight against climate change.
Stage 0: Express interest or register for the program
Stage 1: One-Minute Volunteership
Stage 2: Become a Climate Enthusiast - Adopt Sustainable Practices
Stage 3: Become a Climate Hero - Promote Climate Corrective Action for 3 months
Stage 4: Become a Climate Champion - Promote Climate Corrective Action for 3 yers
Anyone with even a small interest in acting for climate correction can become a Climate Volunteer, regardless of age, experience, or geography. The CVP is thoughtfully designed to cater to three categories of volunteers:
School students
College and university students
Professionals and Civilians
The Climate Volunteers Program (CVP) aims to enroll at least 10,000 volunteers for its launch. Achieving this goal requires the concerted efforts of various like-minded partners to promote CVP, recruit volunteers, assist in their training, and guide them in practicing and promoting sustainable behaviors.
